About Us

Lyle Lieberman, Attorney at Law

Lyle has devoted his practice to representing debtors in bankruptcy law for over 15 years.  He is a University of Michigan graduate (go Blue!) with a double major in history and psychology.  He received his law degree from the Detroit College of Law and was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1986.

Under the new restrictions and complexities of the new bankruptcy law which went into effect on October 17, 2005, it is imperative to have a thorough understanding of the law combined with great attention to detail.  Lyle limits his practice to bankruptcy exclusively.   We like to say "It's all we do, and we do it well!"

Heather Burnard, Attorney at Law

Heather has practiced exclusively in the area of bankruptcy throughout her entire legal career. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. She received her law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 2003.

Heather believes that it is important for every client to be treated as an individual.  She is aware of the confusion many people have over the changes in bankruptcy law, and will devote as much time as necessary to ensure that you understand how these changes affect your bankruptcy case.  Heather knows that she can help you a find a better way.

Lorri Schneider, Paralegal, Office Manager

Lorri has been working in bankruptcy law for over 6 years, following a career in management.  She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cleveland State University.  Lorri will, most likely, be your contact here at our firm and she looks forward to helping you in any way she can.
